About me

Hello there, I'm Flavio González Vázquez 👋

I'm a software engineer by day, and a photography enthusiast by passion. I'm based in the metropolitan area of Stuttgart, Germany, and I capture reality in ultra-photorealistic 3D using radiance field technologies, which emerged in 2020. In 2023, realtime techniques were developed which enable photorealistic captures to be enjoyed in realtime, even in your browser. Radiance fields, in contrast to traditional 3D techniques like photogrammetry, learn how light works, therefore atmospheric effects, light sources, global illumination, mirrored surfaces and intricate geometries can be accurately modeled, offering an unprecedented level of realism.

I create these experiences by carefully photographing the space, training the models that make visualizing the capture possible, and designing the final experience for you to enjoy in the browser.

I do photography, post-processing, custom programming and web design. I also develop my own software for training, pre- and post-processing and visualizing, and create custom workflows for automation.
